Paging Dr. Freud (2007, multi-frame video & installation project, 17 minutes)
Comprised of archival materials from my tenure as Artistic Director of the experimental theater group Doorika, Paging Dr. Freud is a multi-frame montage based on image, music and sound bites pulled from various media elements from Doorika performances (1990-1999). It is not intended as a documentary of the theater's history, but rather a new artwork made from elements of past work combined with the theater’s research source materials such as film clips from Suddenly Last Summer, Cruel Story of Youth and the 35 mm Doorika film Hard Head Flair. As a dense montage - it creates a funny meta-narrative about the process of collaborative art-making.

A conceptual documentary about the real life misadventures of 1970's Dutch artist Bas Jan Ader. The video is part faux documentary - part Hollywood Technicolor Biopic (with stolen bits of films from classics such as: Lust for Life and The Sound of Music, among many others). The project was featured on NPR's This American Life. Written/Directed by Erika Yeomans Edited by Victoria Plummer. Voiceovers by Ira Glass, Lizzy Yoder of FischerSpooner, Kate Gleason,Ford Wright, Jim Strahs, Judy Elkan and Kevin Hurley.

Originally conceived as a live sound project as part of a sound series at AC Project Room in New York, April 2001. It was later re-imagined as a short “super 8 home movie”. A narrative based on the memories of Frances Howard, a man who gave up a career and marriage in order to act upon some peculiar impulses. Written and directed by Erika Yeomans, edited by Sandra Montiel (Pose Down, Punch Drunk Love), Music by Pierre Foldes (LIE), Performed by Mot Filipowski, post production Truckstop Media, Braden King.

Christine Giorgio earned her degree in Film Production from Boston University. While in Boston, she managed a post-production studio that provided affordable and skilled editing services to local filmmakers. Upon moving to New York City, she began working at the non-profit Film/Video Arts as Post-Production Supervisor and Staff Editor. The organization, founded in 1968, has a prestigious reputation for serving the independent film community. At F/VA, Christine completed work for such clients as the New York Philharmonic, Viacom, KOCH Records, the San Diego Philharmonic, and others. She has also edited many narrative shorts and features films, including Dale Nielsen’s Mother’s Nature, Jill Wisoff’s Creating Karma, and Daniel Stedman’s Mother. Christine is currently producing web videos for the New York Philharmonic and freelance editing out of her Soho studio.

LATITUDE London • Minneapolis • New York City -- a traveling and transformative group show drawn equally from the international cities of Minneapolis/London/NYC in which artists interact with each other’s work and each new exhibition space, to evolve over space and time in exhibitions in London, Minneapolis and New York City.

LATITUDE at Fieldgate Gallery in London opens on January 11th, 2007 through February 13th, 2007 and is the second stage of a transactional journey which premiered to record breaking attendance and considerable press attention as 8X8X8 LON/MSP/NYC at the Soap Factory in Minneapolis, Minnesota and which concludes in New York City in 2008.

The work evolves with each new location/space. Common themes occur through convergence, global exchange, fake vs. real, mutating identities, urban history, and trans-local existence -- a dialogue emerges between the artists from all three cities that illuminates their migrating relationships and their interactions with each exhibition space.

Hell on Reels [Astoria Moving Picture Festival], named in reference to the infamous Hell Gate Bridge spanning NYC's East River, is a forum for the exhibition of exceptional and unique short format moving image works, including documentary, narrative, music video, animation, design and experimental films.

The intention of the festival is to provide a forum for the presentation of a diverse range of moving image works and promote creative dialogue and collaboration among participants within the local Queens community, greater NYC metropolitan area and global film society. The first installment of the Hell on Reels [Summer Series] on May 21, 2006 was a great success and featured a selection of short films from around the globe, from Jackson Heights, Queens to Malmo, Sweden and Chicago, Illinois to Berlin, Germany. The June 25th installment of the festival featured short works of all genres ranging from quirky animations from Brooklyn, to hand manipulated 16mm film from Ontario, Canada.

* All screenings are outdoors in the garden to take full advantage of the NYC summer while it lasts!
